- Don`t drink alcohol for 20 minutes
- Rinse out your mouth with water
- 3 minutes before the test do not smoke. Put on the mouthpiece
- Press the test button (4)
A numerical series run down from 15 to 000 on the display. After the beep the display shows "Blow"
and a „C“ moves over the display.
Now blow very strongly for 5 seconds without interruption until the accompanying tone goes off.
Only if the signal is no longer heard and the message "Wait" with "0"
appears, a correct sample was taken! Otherwise the error message "Err" appears.
If you don`t give a breath sample within 15 seconds, an error message "Err"
appears on the display and after another 10 seconds the device turns off automatically.
The measurement results will be shown for about 25 seconds, afterwards it turns off automatically.
Switch on the device with the "Test" button for further tests.

Important information
The limits for the inability to drive are different high in each country.
Regardless, a lower blood alcohol concentration than, for example 0.2 - 0.4 ‰ based on individual tolerance for alcohol, can lead to inability to drive and thus to punishability. In Germany must be expected by deficits from 0,3 ‰ with a criminal proceeding and a possible fine.
A test with the CA 8005 is no evicence to the police, but an important note for you for a responsible behavior.
