The Story of "COSMOS ALKOHOLTESTER"
| 1989 | COSMOS Alkoholtester became established. Right from the start, COSMOS has been concentrating on precise measuring of breath alcohol. It began with alcohol testing devices for the gastronomy which COSMOS imported from Australia. At that time nothing similar was available in Europe. Those early machines already featured an accuracy which was in compliance with police standards. |
| 1990 | COSMOS commissioned 2 engineers to develop a stationary testing machine that was as exact as the best testing devices of the police and that was at the same time highly resistant to vandalism. |
| 1992 / 93 | COSMOS came onto the market as first and only producer of a testing machine with an electronic measuring cell. Within a few years, COSMOS succeeded in installing stationary alcohol testing machines in most of the large houses of entertained dining and event catering in Germany and Austria, e.g. in the internationally popular "MÜNCHNER HOFBRÄUHAUS" |
| 2001 | In cooperation with a Korean producer, COSMOS succeeds in implementing good and reliable software into small and manageable alcohol tester. The C A 2005 quickly conquers considerable parts of the German market. Main Clients: Welfare centres, industry, travel companies and security firms. |
| 2004 | COSMOS becomes permanent contractor for delivering alcohol tester and mouth pieces to large German psychiatric clinics. |
| 2006 | COSMOS develops a new state-of-the-art breath alcohol analyzer with semi-conductor technique. It is the only device with a semi conductor gas sensor that is suitable for serial testing displaying full digital results and not just yes or no. High-quality fittings such as a comfortable menu-driven software with graphic display and data storage of up to 200 measuring, which can be administrated through an USB port at the PC.
